Transforming a room in a few days is the thrill of mural painting.  This is a relatively quick way to make a big statement.  In these next two photos you can see that the faux architecture  and statue of Michelangelo have really created a different atmosphere in this room. This mural is 18'feet high and 13' wide with the statue being 7'6" tall.
The rounded stairway is also an example of changing an environment.  It is impossible to photograph this mural properly but because both sides and the ceiling are done in this stairwell the world changes as soon as you begin to descend the stairs. Here the walls on the left are done in a textured stone block and the right side has two separate scenes looking out onto a landscape of the ocean.
